It’s tasted the letters from the doctors on thin grey paper, the same colour as the office bathroom where you piss blood. The chewier sheets from oncology.
And seen the uncashed novelty cheque for one blowjob with eye contact, signed in an ink rusty-nail sour.
It's ripped through the bucket list you scrunched up because there wasn't time to make amends.
