Our submissions are always-open, always-slow, always-running-late, always-never, and always-always.
Unless they're closed. Then they're just closed.
All submissions should be sent to: submissions [at] earrat [dot] com. The subject line of your email should be "Submission: TITLE / AUTHOR NAME".
All submissions must include a drawing of an Ear Rat. This is a requirement; failure to include this will receive a pushback to re-check submission guidelines, or an outright rejection.
We accept work of any kind if it can be displayed somehow on this website. Fiction, non-fiction, baseball-fiction, video, photography, digital art, non-digital art (just called art), sculpture, really good tweets, really bad tweets, poetry, new yoga poses, doodles on post-its, those little word magnets arranged in a good way, decks of cards, and other pieces of creation you can cook up.
By submitting you are acknowledging that the work is an original creation by you and is previously unpublished and you are granting Ear Rat the right to publish the work on this website for an indefinite amount of time. Sim subs are fine, if you need to retract a submission just let us know.
Rights revert to the creator upon publication. If you republish the work elsewhere, please credit Ear Rat as first publisher.
We retain the right to remove work from the site for any reason at any time with no notice.
